Day 1: Essential Setup

Complete these important first-day tasks within 14 days of account creation:

Set your real nameimportance

Enter your real name (first and last name) in your profile. This is important for KYC verification later and must be completed within 14 days of account creation.

How to approach:

Click the three lines at the top left of the home page → Click Profile → Write your name

Phone number and email verification

Verify both your phone number and email address to secure your account and enable additional features.

How to approach:

Click on the three lines at the top left of the home page → Click on profile → Click on authenticate

Install Pie Browser

Install the Pi Browser to access Pi apps and services in the Pi ecosystem.

How to approach:

Click on the three lines at the top left of the home screen → Click on Five Browser → Install

Day 2: Setting up the lockup

Set a lockup ratio to prepare for mainnet migration.

Configure lockup settings

Set a lockup ratio that determines how much Pi is locked and how much Pi is immediately transferable when migrating to mainnet.

Click on the three lines at the top left of the home page → Click on Mainnet → Click on Set Lockup Ratio

Day 4: Setting up the security shield

Create security shields and build security circles to improve network security and mining speed.

Become a contributor and activate a security shield to help secure the network.

How to approach:

Click the three lines on the top left of the home screen → Click Role → Click Contributor → Create Shield

Add members to your security circle

Add trusted contacts with a Pi account to your security circle. Look for contacts with a green Pi icon next to their name.

How to approach:

Press the shield → Press Invite from Contacts → Add the person with the green pie next to him/her
